Hello everyone, welcome back to MR&CO, today i will be sharing with you what i (i mean us) did on our second Parisian day.

Olá novamente ao MR & CO, hoje mostro-vos o que fiz (fizemos) no nosso segundo dia parisiense.











The day simply started with a beautiful and very Parisian Baguette (yes it's really good), and with a quick yet beautiful visit of Notre Dame. Notre Dame is a cathedral in the heart of Paris and the most beautiful of France. Inside of it, we can see multiple works of stained glass and sculptures, of course, all of them associated with the Christian Religion.
We took our time and saw the cathedral and then we went to our metro stop at Hotel de Ville (a gorgeous palace that i didn't even know that existed).

O dia simplesmente começou com uma Baguette parisiense (muito boa), e com uma visita rápida á bela Catedral de Notre Dame. Notre Dame fica no coração de Paris, é um dos monumentos e simbolos mais bonitos e conhecidos de França. Dentro da Catedral, podemos ver vários vitrais, que são verdaeiras obras de arte assim como podemos ver várias esculturas e pinturas, todas elas associadas à religião cristã.
Nós vimos a catedral com calma e fomos de lá para a nossa paragem de metro no Hotel de Ville (um palácio lindo que eu nem sabia que existia).








Le Opéra was our destination to discover the magnificent Chanel store at Rue Cambon (the very first Chanel store), with the beautiful and iconic staircase that was, in time, the Fashion Show Venue to our beloved Gabrielle. It was a magical experience to walk and to see in my own pair of eyes the place were Chanel was born and the place that Chanel lived and lives, and of course, the store was simply beautiful and chic, the products were amazing and overly expensive (but who cares about the price).

Le Opéra foi o nosso destino de metro para descobrir a magnífica loja Chanel na Rue Cambon (a primeira loja Chanel), com a bela e icónica escadaria que foi, em seu tempo, o palco de várias apresentações de alta costura das coleções da nossa querida Gabrielle. Foi uma experiência mágica poder caminhar e ver com os nossos próprios olhos o lugar onde Chanel nasceu e viveu. A loja era simplesmente linda e chique, os produtos eram surpreendentes e especiais com preços excessivamente caros (mas quem quer saber do preço).



Oh, i almost forgot to tell you about my typical Croque Monsieur. :)

Quase me esquecia de vos mostrar o meu pequeno almoço típico, Croque Monsieur. :)









After Chanel we walked around the Place Vendome and Rue Saint Honoré to see some store like Gucci, Vuitton, Balenciaga, and all that good ice. Unfortunately, we had the nerve to walk into a Vintage store (full of Mugler fur, old Louboutins and vintage Hermes and Chanel) and saw a Gorgeous Birkin (look it up, it's a better investment than Gold) that sadly had to remain there thanks to my lack of 9.000€.

Depois da Chanel, caminhamos pela Place Vendome e pela Rue Saint Honoré para ver lojas como Gucci, Vuitton ou Balenciaga e todas essas coisas boas. Infelizmente, tivemos a coragem de entrar numa loja Vintage (cheia de pele de Mugler, Louboutins antigos e peças vintage da Hermes ou Chanel) e vimos uma Birkin linda (pesquisem o que é uma birkin, é considerada um melhor investimento que ouro) que infelizmente teve que permanecer lá, graças à minha falta de 9.000 €.




To cheer our selves up we spend a little of time on a Laduree store (a must-to-do in Paris) and i bought a nice black box with 6 macarons (the dessert of Gods and kings). The Lunch was also quick and easy at a nice Restaurant (Le Relais Paris Opéra, the name of it) right on the side of the Opéra Garnier.

Para nos animar, passamos pela loja Laduree (algo indespensável em Paris) e comprei uma pequena caixa preta recheada de 6 macarons (a sobremesa dos deuses e dos reis). O almoço foi também rápido e eficaz num restaurante agradável (Le Relais Paris Opéra) ao lado da Opéra Garnier.










Now a nice tip for all of you who want to have a jaw-dropping view over Paris is to enter in Galleries Lafayette and to go straight to the rooftop, believe me, you won't regret it (and the store is cute inside too, see it yourself).

Agora, uma boa dica para todos vós que querem uma otima vista sobre Paris. Entrar nas Galerias Lafayette e ir logo para o dito telhado, acreditem, não se vão arrepender (e a loja também é bem bonitinha por dentro, como já viram).









The subway was literally our best friend in Paris (and the Maps too, props to Maps), was our best friend in the way that it is supost to be, that is to take us quickly to the other side of the town :D.
Le Sacre Coeur was our next move, i will be honest, is a beautiful view over the Town but personally, i think that the rooftop on Lafayette it's quite better, but the Basilique is beautiful inside, so it's worthy anyway.

O metro foi literalmente o nosso melhor amigo em Paris (assim como o Google Maps), foi nosso melhor amigo na maneira que é mesmo a melhor forma de irmos rapidamente para o outro lado da cidade: D.
Le Sacre Coeur foi o monumento seguinte, vou ser honesto comvosco, tem bela vista sobre a Cidade, mas pessoalmente, acho que o telhado de Lafayette é melhor. Mas compesa ir a Sacre Coeur pela magnifica basílica que é, linda por dentro e por fora, também contém várias esculturas espalhadas pelo átrio dela.



Really near the Sacre Coeur its the Moulin Rouge, that is not how you imagine being (movie reference) but is nice as well. And it in the middle of a busy part of the city, so it's nice to see everyone rushing around to work or off work and do their everyday life.
We took a long snack at a Starbucks with a view over the Moulin and closed our day.

Muito perto do Sacre Coeur é o Moulin Rouge, não é aquilo que nós imaginamos que seja (graças ao filme), mas também é bonito e talvez um dos "monumentos mais modernos de Paris. Fica no meio de uma parte mais movimentada da cidade, então é engraçado ver todos os habitantes a fazer a vida normal deles ou a andarem de forma precipitada para irem trabalhar ou para saírem do trabalho, fazer o cotidiano deles.
Acabamos o dia a tomar um longo lanche no Starbucks com uma vista sobre o moínho vermelho.
