Welcome back to MR&CO, today i'm bringing you the first fashion show that i saw on my second day at Portugal Fashion, the always fun and creative Katty Xiomara.
Katty Xiomara is a Portuguese designer that makes wonderful collections that are always fun and animated, she does not take fashion too seriously (like we all should) and she plays with it, creating some magnificent pieces.
For the next spring summer, we saw a collection that went from total black (opening look) to a beautiful red/orangy last look, showing that Xiomara can play with color like no one. The pinky pastels and light greens had their moment too. The pieces wore made with light and fluid fabrics in classical and elegant shapes with a few frills that gave the collection power of youth.
Her inspiration for this show was the 60's Miami Beach Art Deco wave, that can explain the straight cuts or even the frills themselves.

Bem-vindo/a de volta ao MR&CO, hoje trago-vos o primeiro desfile que vi no segundo dia de Portugal Fashion, a sempre divertida e criativa Katty Xiomara.
Katty Xiomara é uma designer portuguesa que faz coleções maravilhosas, sempre divertidas e animadas. Ela não leva moda muito a sério (como todos nós não deveriamos) de forma a brincar com moda, de forma a criar peças magníficas.
Para o próximo verão, vimos uma coleção que cresceu do total preto (outfit de abertura) para um lindo último look em vermelho/lanranjita, mostrando que Xiomara consegue brincar com a cor como ninguém. Os tons rosa e os verdes claros também estiveram presentes. As peças foram feitas em tecidos leves e fluidos, cortados em formas clássicas e elegantes, com algums folhos que deram o poder da juventude à coleção.
A inspiração para este desfile cresceu numa onda de Art Deco de Miami Beach dos anos 60, que explica os cortes diretos ou até mesmo os próprios folhos.
